First Trailer for ‘Spoiler Alert’ Spoils That The Protagonist Will Die

The first trailer for Spoiler Alert has been released online. Directed by Michael Showalter, written by David Marshall Grant and Dan Savage, and based on the book Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies by Michael Ausiello, the movie will star Jim Parsons, Ben Aldridge, Sally Field, and Bill Irwin.

Its plot synopsis reads “Based on Michael Ausiello’s best-selling memoir “Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies,” the film is a heartwarming, funny and life-affirming story of how Michael and Kit’s relationship is transformed and deepened when one of them falls ill.”

You can watch the full trailer below and see the movie in select theatres on December 2nd:
