The first poster for Christopher Nolan‘s Oppenheimer has been released online. Written and directed by Nolan and based on the book American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, the movie has a stacked cast featuring Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, Matthew Modine, Dylan Arnold, Alden Ehrenreich, David Krumholtz, Kenneth Branagh, Jason Clarke, David Dastmalchian, James D’Arcy, Josh Peck, Matthias Schweighöfer, Devon Bostick, Alex Wolff, Gary Oldman, and Casey Affleck.
Its plot synopsis reads: “The story of American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his role in the development of the atomic bomb.”

The teaser trailer for the movie was rated by the Government of Québec on July 20th and will be attached in front of screenings for Jordan Peele‘s NOPE, which has just been released in cinemas today. Oppenheimer will release exclusively in theaters a year from today, on July 21st, 2023.
