First Trailer for Hirokazu Kore-eda’s ‘Broker’ Releases Before Cannes Debut

The first trailer for Hirokazu Kore-eda‘s latest movie, Broker, has been released online, in anticipation of tomorrow’s Cannes International Film Festival premiere.

Written and directed by Kore-eda, the movie stars Song Kang-ho, Gang Dan-won, Bae Doona, Lee Ji-eun, and Lee Joo-young. No plot synopsis has been unveiled, but it is said that the movie’s protagonists will be centered around baby boxes, which are used for infants to be dropped off anonymously and be cared for by other people.

You can watch the full trailer below. No specific release date for North America has been announced, but the movie will be released on June 8th in South Korea:
