Earlier today, some key dates for the 2023 Oscar season came down the pike, including when exactly the big day will be. The 95th Academy Award ceremony will, in fact, be held a day before my birthday, on March 12th. Last year, the Critics Choice Awards were held on my exact birthday. Coincidence? I think not (actually, I just have an awards friendly birth date, I guess). Read on for some of the other dates to look out for next year, when the awards season actually kicks into high gear…
Below, you can see what the big days to come for the Academy will be this season, as per The Hollywood Reporter. Of course, as we’ve seen the past few years, these are obviously subject to change, COVID or otherwise. Still, mark these down in your calendar!

Thursday, Dec. 15: Preliminary voting ends 5 p.m. PT

JANUARY
Thursday, Jan. 12: Nominations voting begins 9 a.m. PT
