First Trailer for ‘Avatar: The Way of the Water’ Drops Online

“It’s been 13 years…”, Avatar fans have likely said after they saw the trailer for James Cameron‘s highly anticipated Avatar: The Way of the Water in front of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness this weekend. Joey previewed it earlier in the week and his thoughts can be found here.

Cameron wrote the script with Josh Friedman, as the film boasts an incredible cast with the likes of Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, CCH Pounder, Cliff Curtis, Kate Winslet, Giovanni Ribisi, Dileep Rao, Edie Falco, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver, Oona Chaplin and Vin Diesel.

Its plot synopsis reads: “Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.”

Additionally, a first poster also released which you can look at below:
