94th Academy Award Nominations Revealed in Another Snub and Surprise Filled Announcement

Moments ago, the 94th Academy Award nominations were announced. As always, they shocked in ways both good and bad, but largely, this was a diverse and eclectic lineup from Oscar. Leading the way was The Power of the Dog with twelve nominations. Dune followed close behind with ten, while Belfast and West Side Story each had seven. The biggest surprises included Lady Gaga being the one to miss in Best Actress, not Kristen Stewart, Caitriona Balfe being swapped out for Judi Dench in Best Supporting Actress, as well as Denis Villeneuve being snubbed in Best Director.
