Interview: Eddie Marsan on Returning to Terry Donovan in ‘Ray Donovan: The Movie’

Showtime’s Ray Donovan centers on a fixer (Liev Schreiber) who works with the rich and famous to protect their secrets, but it’s just as much a show about the Donovan family and its complicated history. Among the rich and talented ensemble is English actor Eddie Marsan, who dons a convincing Boston accent to play Terry, a former boxer whose sustained injuries resulted in him having Parkinson’s disease.

Though Ray Donovan officially wrapped two years ago at the end of its seventh season, the Donovan clan returns for Ray Donovan: The Movie, which offers one final opportunity to see Ray, Terry, and everyone else.

Awards Radar had the opportunity to speak with Marsan about Terry’s story arcs, great talent on the show, and the chance to revisit his character.

Ray Donovan: The Movie is now airing on Showtime.
