Ralph Fiennes, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jodie Comer to Star in ’28 Years Later’

28 Years Later will soon begin production, and Deadline has revealed that Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Ralph Fiennes are set to star in Danny Boyle’s latest installment of the 28 Days Later franchise.

Details on the characters or the film’s plot are closely kept under wraps, but the plan is to shoot both this film and its first sequel back-to-back, with Alex Garland penning the screenplay and Nia DaCosta helming the sequel.

While 28 Years Later was highly speculated for a long time, the movie is now close to beginning shooting as part of a new trilogy within the 28 Days Later franchise, comprising of Boyle’s 2002 original and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo‘s 28 Weeks Later.
