As ballots have gone out to the Writers’ Guild of America for their annual awards ceremony, which celebrates the best of screenwriting in film and television, Next Best Picture has reported that some movies have been ineligible for nomination this year, and some pretty notable ones are found, including Belfast, which recently won the Golden Globe for Best Original Screenplay and The Power of the Dog in the Adapted Screenplay category.
