Interview: Diane Guerrero on Playing Perfection in Disney’s ‘Encanto’

The sixtieth feature film from Walt Disney Animation Studios is Encanto, a delightful story of family and magic set in Colombia. The oldest daughter of the Madrigal family is Isabela, who seems perfect in every way and has the power to create flowers wherever she goes.

Awards Radar had the opportunity to speak with Diane Guerrero, who provides the voice for Isabela, about how much of herself she sees in the character, as well as how this part relates to some of her other roles in TV series like Doom Patrol and Jane the Virgin.
