Emily Blunt in Talks to Star in Christopher Nolan’s Upcoming Film ‘Oppenheimer’

The news just seem to keep on coming for this film.

Emily Blunt looks to be joining Cillian Murphy in Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming film for Universal. The film was recently confirmed after Universal obtained it and that it will be about theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, titled Oppenheimer.

According to Deadline, sources have stated that Emily Blunt is in talks to play the wife of the film’s subject. Her name is Katherine Oppenheimer and she was a scientist who ran the Manhattan Project. However, both Blunt or Universal could not be reached for comment.

Blunt would be joining Murphy in what is reported to be an all-star cast. The film is set to release July 21, 2023 by Universal.
