Jordan Peele’s New Film ‘Nope’ Gets First Poster

Universal Pictures

Few people believed that comedian Jordan Peele would be able to make a genuinely good horror movie when it was announced that he would be directing a film known as Get Out. But as we all know, the film was released to immense critical and commercial acclaim and is considered by many to be one of the best horror films of the 2010s.

He then directed another horror film in 2019 titled Us, which also proved to be a hit. But it’s been two years since that film’s release and many people were wondering when we would learn more about a new Jordan Peele-directed horror film. Now, we know some details.

Today, it was revealed that the filmmaker’s next film will be titled Nope, and will star Daniel Kaluuya (who he previously worked with on the aforementioned Get Out), Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun. In addition to the title reveal and the first initial cast members, an official poster was released which you can see below.

Unfortunately, we don’t yet know what Nope will be about, but we can only hope that it will live up to the heights of both Get Out and Us. Thankfully, we do know that the film will be released in theaters on July 22, 2022, through Universal Pictures.

Here is the poster:
