TIFF 21 Lineup Announced!

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF for short) announced the next batch of films that are going to show at the festival. More specifically, the Gala and Special presentation films, which tend to be a major indication for Academy Award success. 

Here are the films that were announced so far for TIFF:

Gala Presentation:

  • The Electric Life Of Louis Wain (dir. Will Sharpe)
  • The Eyes Of Tammy Faye (dir. Michael Showalter)
  • Jagged (dir. Alison Klayman)
  • Last Night In Soho (dir. Edgar Wright)
  • The Mad Women’s Ball (dir. Melanie Laurent)
  • The Night Raiders (dir. Danis Goulet)
  • One Second (dir. Zhang Yimou)
  • The Survivor (dir. Barry Levinson)

  • The Worst Person In The World (dir. Joachim Trier)

There are still more announcements to come. Contemporary World Cinema, Discovery, Midnight Madness, Primetime and Wavelengths are to be announced on July 28, and TIFF Shortcuts and the Platform Programme will be announced on August 11th. 

The 2021 Toronto International Film Festival is set to take place from September 9-18.
