The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF for short) announced the next batch of films that are going to show at the festival. More specifically, the Gala and Special presentation films, which tend to be a major indication for Academy Award success.

There are still more announcements to come. Contemporary World Cinema, Discovery, Midnight Madness, Primetime and Wavelengths are to be announced on July 28, and TIFF Shortcuts and the Platform Programme will be announced on August 11th.
The 2021 Toronto International Film Festival is set to take place from September 9-18.
