Back when filmmaker Sabrina Doyle debuted her first feature film Lorelei at the Deauville American Film Festival in September of 2020, it wowed mostly all of the critics that happened to catch the film.
As is usually the case with any film that gets high praise from critics before a theatrical release, many audience-goers wonder when they, too, will get to see the movie in question. If you were one of those people who was curious about Lorelei, then you won’t have to wait too much longer.
A brand new trailer for the film has been officially released that teases the emotional drama. Starring Pablo Schreiber, Jena Malone (who we interviewed here), Amelia Borgerding, Parker Pascoe-Sheppard, and Gretchen Corbett, the project is scheduled for release on July 30, 2021 by Vertical Entertainment.
The official synopsis from the film’s distributor reads as follows:
“After 15 years in prison, Wayland (Pablo Schreiber) reunites with his high school girlfriend, Dolores (Jena Malone), who is now a single mother of three. What follows is a lyrical take on love, regret and second chances.”
