Awards Radar Podcast #39: Joey, Myles, and Steve Break Down Why ‘In the Heights’ Didn’t Break the Box Office

Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!

For episode number thirty nine, it was a more intimate affair this week. I was joined once again by podcast regular Myles Hughes and Steve Prusakowski, but only them. It’ll be a bigger crowd again next week, but today was a smaller gathering. We tackle an Owen Wilson related question, build another Mount Rushmore, speculate on Loki, and discuss In the Heights more. The latter two topics are most of what we’re up to, but there’s plenty of other silliness and random asides to be found, as always…

As is always the case for us here, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our thirty-ninth one to date. Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. More to come each and every single week, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening!
