The Knives Out 2 casting announcement extravaganza took a break over the weekend, but it looks like it’s back In full swing now.
THR is reporting that Leslie Odom Jr. has joined the cast of the upcoming Rian Johnson sequel to his 2019 smash hit. The actor joins the recently announced Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, and Kathryn Hahn in the cast of the film which will feature Daniel Craig returning as his super sleuth Benoit Blanc for another star-studded ensemble mystery.
Odom Jr. is fresh off receiving two Oscar nominations (one for Best Supporting Actor and another for Best Original Song) for his work on Regina King’s directorial debut One Night in Miami last year. The Tony-winning Hamilton star will also be seen in the upcoming Sopranos prequel The Many Saints of Newark as well as the John Ridley-directed Needle in a Timestack, co-starring Freida Pinto and Cynthia Erivo.
