The next installment in the Indiana Jones franchise has added two more to its already impressive cast list. Joining the previously announced Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen (and, of course, Harrison Ford) in the cast are now Boyd Holbrook and Shaunette Renée Wilson, according to Deadline.
With production set to begin this summer for the July 29, 2022 release, expect to see more potential casting news coming soon. There are still no details on what characters any of the new cast will be playing, nor anything about the plot.
What we do know is that the film will be directed by James Mangold (Logan, Ford v. Ferrari), making it the first Indy film not to be helmed by Steven Spielberg. Spielberg is still producing, alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel. One person who is returning is John Williams, who has been confirmed to be back composing the score for the film.
