MTV Movie and TV Awards Announce Their Nominations

The MTV Movie and TV Awards have announced their nominations for this year’s ceremony, honoring their legacy as one of the most idiosyncratic awards organizations out there.

With a mix of crowd-pleasing hits and critical favorites, this is perhaps the only ceremony where you’ll be able to see a nomination in Best Performance in a Movie for Daniel Kaluuya in Judas and the Black Messiah, as well as one for Below Deck Mediterranean in Best Docu-Reality Show.

With more categories than ever, this is certainly an interesting crop of nominees, and one that the people are now able to vote for the winners of!

Head on over here to vote for your choices to win from this robust slate of nominees. You have until April 30th to vote, and then we can all tune in on Sunday, May 16th at 9pm ET/PT to see who the winners are.

The following day, Monday, May 17th, MTV will then air the first ever “Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED” at 9pm ET/PT, which could be quite interesting to see how that differentiates from the initial telecast.
