The Lucas Brothers Are Starring In and Writing a Comedy for Judd Apatow

While Judd Apatow is gearing up to shoot his lockdown-based Netflix comedy The Bubble, he’s now attached to produce another new project that we at Awards Radar couldn’t be more excited for. 

Keith and Kenny Lucas are set to write and star in a semi-autobiographical comedy, based on their lives as identical twins in Newark, New Jersey. The screenplay will be co-written by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel, along with the Lucas Brothers. 

Keith Lucas teased the project to us a couple of months back when he first appeared on the Awards Radar Podcast, and now we’ve got an official announcement of this exciting new move in the brothers’ careers. 

Keith and Kenny are seeing their stars ascend lately, having just picked up a WGA nomination for their work on the story for Judas the Black Messiah. They also have a recently announced Revenge of the Nerds reboot coming up that they will be writing and starring in, from Seth MacFarlane. 

There’s no more word yet on what or who this exciting new project will entail (besides the Lucas Brothers), but we’ll be sure to give you any more updates as soon as they’re announced.
