A Bigger Picture of ‘Mank’ Emerges with the Official Trailer

Netflix has unveiled the full trailer for Mank two weeks after dropping a teaser, which we discussed briefly on the second Awards Radar podcast. This black-and-white film tells the story of the making of one of Hollywood’s most famous movies, Citizen Kane. Two-time Oscar nominee David Fincher (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Social Network) is directing and Oscar winner Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour) stars as screenwriter Herman Mankiewicz. It is expected to be a major awards season player.

Mank is slated for release in select theaters next month and on Netflix’s streaming service on December 4th. Awards attention is likely to follow. Check out the Mank trailer below:
