Natalia Dyer is on the cusp of being a superstar. She’s well-regarded for her work on the Netflix series Stranger Things, and showed up recently in the divisive yet memorable Velvet Buzzsaw. However, it was earlier this year where she really left a mark on me. It was in the independent coming of age comedy/dramedy Yes, God, Yes, which she is absolutely phenomenal in. The film brilliantly showcases her, to the point where casting directors who see it must be falling over themselves to work with her. So, it was a quick yes when the question was proposed about speaking with Dyer. The results of that conversation can be heard below.
Next you can hear my chat with Dyer, and it’s a pretty good one. Mostly, it should serve as a reminder that Yes, God, Yes is an incredibly underrated indie from this year and deserves to be seen. You may know her from Stranger Things, sure, but after you see this movie, it’ll be what you love her from. We get into what attracted her to the project, why it’s such a special flick, and more. Listen now and expect to see her in some major projects once the industry gets back to normal…
Enjoy my interview with Natalia Dyer below, and definitely check out Yes, God, Yes!
