Almost exactly a year ago, the release of the Jessica Chastain thriller series The Savant was put on hold by Apple TV. The show had been scheduled to premiere on September 26th, 2025, though that obviously did not happen. Well, it sounds like the streamer has finally found a place for it, next year. Read on for more.
According to Deadline, Apple is now planning to have the series hit in the spring of 2027. That debut next year would make it eligible for the 2027 Emmy Awards, for what that’s worth. The Savant was postponed due to its story surrounding sniper attacks, which could have hit close to home for some next year. Now, the Chastain led thriller series is no longer in limbo. Update your television calendars accordingly.
