The past several years have seen him focusing on acting, but Kumail Nanjiani has also got behind the camera chops, having co-written The Big Sick, scoring an Academy Award nomination in the process. Well, it appears that Nanjiani is finally taking the next logical step and directing a film. Details on the project below.
According to Deadline, Nanjiani will be directing and starring in the horror comedy Howl, which features a Black List script from Madison Vanderberg. Nanjiani will play a famous yet notoriously troubled actor who announces on a talk show that in less than an hour, on live television he’ll turn into a werewolf.
