Joey Magidson
As many of you know by now, Awards Radar Podcast co-host since the jump Myles Hughes has stepped away from the show. The end of the most recent episode of the podcast has his announcement, as well as some of what you can look out for from him in the future. Just yesterday, he even announced a play he’ll be directing, so it’s busy times for Myles. Today, as the first episode post Myles prepares to go up, I wanted to leave this here as a thank you to him, as well as an opportunity for any and all of you to wish him well!
I wrote the following on socials once episode 300 went up with the news:
Those who have listened to episode 300 already will know this by now, but for everyone else who’s a fan of the Awards Radar Podcast (both of you), today marks the final show for Myles Edward Hughes as a regular. Literally the first person I reached out to about the pod and site when I was starting things up six years ago, it’s been quite the ride. He’ll definitely be missed, and is always welcome back to chat about horror or promote his own work, but when he came to me with this decision about a month or so ago, it clearly was his time. So, be sure to listen to the show, wish him well, and stay tuned for what’s next…

As we discussed on the latest podcast, this week was my last as a regular co-host. It’s been 6 years and 300 episodes, and as I shift my focus to other projects, I do just want to emphasize how grateful I am to Joey for the opportunity, and what an amazing ride it’s been. Thank you to everyone at Awards Radar for everything you do (especially Steve, who does so much behind the scenes to keep things flowing), and thank you to anyone who listened to us over the years!
