Ever since 2023, there has been talk of a feature film version of the animated hit show Rick and Morty. Series creator Dan Harmon has spoken of trying to make a 90 minute episode for the big screen, as opposed to reinventing the show’s wheel. With the ninth season about to premiere on Sunday, there’s some movement on the movie front, namely a potential director. Read on to find out who could be helming.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, series veteran director Jacob Hair is in talks for the job. Hair has directed for years on the show, so he’d be a familiar hand on the wheel.
