Awards Radar Podcast #279: Joey Hypes Myles Up for ‘Project Hail Mary’ and Takes Oscar’s Temperature with Final Voting Underway

Welcome back to the Awards Radar Podcast. In each episode, Editor Joey Magidson (that’s me!) will be joined by some of the staff of Awards Radar to talk about the latest in film, television, and entertainment in general. The show will obviously have an awards season slant to it, but we won’t forget about other movies and shows, that’s for sure!

For episode 279, I’m joined once again by my co-host Myles Hughes, with producer Steve Prusakowski working behind the scenes. This time around, I’m eager to hype Myles up for Project Hail Mary, which I’d just seen and fell head over heels in love with. I’m also super fond of Hoppers, while lukewarm on Scream 7 (reviewed here) and not a fan of In the Blink of an Eye (reviewed here). Myles, on the other hand, has caught up with The Rip (my review is here), Good Luck Have Fun Don’t Die (reviewed here), and Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie (rave review is here). We get into all of that, as well as look at this weekend’s precursors to see what Oscar could do, with final voting underway. Throw in your questions, as well as a preview of an upcoming video game segment, and we’re back in a big way…

As always my friends and faithful listeners/readers, I do hope you all enjoy the latest episode of the Awards Radar Podcast, our 279th one to date (here’s to many more). Of course, feel free to revisit the previous installments by clicking the Podcast tab (here) on the top of the page. Plus, listen to us on Apple Podcasts (iTunes), Spotify, and other platforms. More to come each and every single week, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening!
