Teaser Trailer Released for ‘I Love Boosters’ From Boots Riley

Boots Riley‘s sophomore feature I Love Boosters has finally gotten a first look, as the teaser trailer dropped this afternoon. After the wild creativity of Sorry to Bother You, anything is possible with this film, even if the short synopsis of “A crew of professional shoplifters take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven. It’s like community service.” remains fairly low key.

Riley writes and directs, with the cast including Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu, Eiza González, LaKeith Stanfield, Will Poulter, Don Cheadle, and Demi Moore. NEON will release the movie on May 22nd.
