New ‘Fallout’ Scene Drops at CCXP In Preparation of the Season 2 Premiere

Lucy, The Ghoul and Dogmeat are nearing their return. For newcomers to the world of the wasteland, this may leave them scratching their heads. But for Fallout fans? They’re gonna lose their irradiated minds as Prime Video debuted an exclusive new scene from the upcoming second season of Fallout, featuring the iconic location of Novac and the fan favorite Dinky the T-Rex.

The clip was past of the series shows our unlikely heroes, Lucy (Ella Purnell), The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) and CX404 (a canine friend) navigating their way across the Mojave towards New Vegas. The clip was presented over the weekend to an audience of thousands at CCXP, Brazil’s massive pop-culture fan convention in São Paulo, by Purnell, Aaron Moten, Goggins, and Justin Theroux.

The new eight-episode season which premiere on December 17th only on Prime Video will pick up in the aftermath of season one’s epic finale for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.

Last season I had the pleasure of speaking with Walton Goggins about the humanity behind the gruesome exterior of his character, The Ghoul, and how his alter ego, Howard Cooper, is still alive inside him. This exclusive clip, some S2 photos, my interview with Goggins and our interview into the makeup of The Ghoul may be just enough to hold you over until the next chapter of the premieres later this month.

War. War never changes, but this story will continue.

You can also watch season one is currently available to stream on Prime Video.
