NEON Acquires ‘The Christophers’ From Steven Soderbergh

Back at the Toronto International Film Festival, Steven Soderbergh premiered his latest movie, The Christophers, starring Ian McKellen. No distributor immediately acquired the film, even though it debuted to very solid reactions. Well, one has now stepped up, and it’s a pretty familiar one to the director.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NEON has picked up The Christophers. They will release the film next year, so consider it a 2026 release. After handling Presence for Soderbergh (which also played at TIFF last year), they’re going to be working together again on this one. Stay tuned for more on this one.
