Adam Sandler to Receive Maltin Modern Master Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival

Jay Kelly is shaping up to be one of Netflix’s biggest awards players this season. As such, any attention that the film and its creative forces can drum up is a good thing. At the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, one of the movie’s central cast members is going to be feted, as Adam Sandler is set to receive the Maltin Modern Master Award. More below.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sandler is going to be receiving that honor at SBIFF, which will occur on February 5th. Along with the award, Sandler will sit down for a conversation with Leonard Maltin himself. As Sandler hopes to receive his first Academy Award nomination, this can only help.
