Over the weekend, Benoit Blanc returned to the Toronto International Film Festival! Yes, Netflix brought Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery to TIFF for its World Premiere. Our own editor Joey Magidson was on hand and loved the film, raving about it here. This morning, the movie got its teaser trailer, giving us all a look at what filmmaker Rian Johnson and star Daniel Craig have planned. Look for it to hit theaters on November 26th before coming to Netflix on December 12th.
Johnson writes and directs, with Craig again playing Blanc. The rest of the cast this time around includes Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.
