Bradley Cooper‘s third filmmaking effort has finally been revealed. Is This Thing On? will debut at the New York Film Festival, but this morning, a teaser trailer has been released. Cooper directs, while writing the screenplay with Will Arnett and Mark Chappell. Arnett stars opposite Laura Dern, with the cast also including Andra Day, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, Christine Ebersole, Ciarán Hinds, and Scott Icenogle, as well as Cooper himself. The movie will hit theaters in December.

As their marriage quietly unravels, Alex (Will Arnett) faces middle age and an impending divorce, seeking new purpose in the New York comedy scene while Tess (Laura Dern) confronts the sacrifices she made for their family—forcing them to navigate co-parenting, identity, and whether love can take a new form.
