Teaser Trailer Released for Josh Safdie’s ‘Marty Supreme’ Starring Timothée Chalamet

This morning, A24 released the first teaser trailer for Marty Supreme, coming from Josh Safdie and starring Timothée Chalamet. A sports drama centered on a young man in pursuit of ping-pong greatness, it looks like quite the vehicle for Chalamet.

Safdie directs a screenplay he wrote with Ronald Bronstein. In addition to Chalamet, the cast includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher. The movie hits theaters this Christmas.

The plot synopsis remains simply: “Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness.”
