Teaser Trailer Released for Yorgos Lanthimos’ ‘Bugonia’

A new Yorgos Lanthimos film is on the horizon. Focus Features will release Bugonia in theaters on October 24th, expanding wide the next week on Halloween, but today they revealed the official teaser trailer. Go figure, in true Lanthimos fashion, it looks weird in the best way possible.

Jesse Plemons and Emma Stone star for Lanthimos, who directs a screenplay from Will Tracy. Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone round out the cast. The brief synopsis of the movie is as follows: “Two conspiracy obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.”
