Yes, the Golden Globes have announced a Best Podcast category coming to the show, as the group is now expanding beyond just film and television. More below.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, full eligibility criteria will be announced in the weeks to come, but the basics are as follows: the category will consist of six nominees, chosen from the 25 most listened to podcasts, presumably determined by the Globes. We’ll see how this first award goes down literally next year, during the 83rd Golden Globes on Sunday, January 11th, 2026. So, stay tuned for a Golden Globe winning podcast!
