Apple Acquires Rights to Joseph Kosinski’s Next Movie

As Joseph Kosinski will soon return to our screens with the highly-anticipated F1, we have now learned that the Top Gun: Maverick filmmaker will soon collaborate once more with Apple Original Films for a yet-to-be-titled UFO movie, with Zach Baylin set to write the screenplay and Jerry Bruckheimer executive producing.

The deal is reported to be massive for not only Apple but also Kosinski, who has secured an eight-figure deal comparable to the likes of Christopher Nolan and Steven Spielberg. Baylin and Bruckheimer received close to the mid-seven figures.

No details on the casting or plot are currently known, but the movie is set to be a large-scale conspiracy thriller about two men in national security uncovering a secret program to recover and reverse-engineer crashed UFOs.

More information will likely be announced soon, but in the meantime, Kosinski’s latest movie, F1, will be released exclusively in theatres on June 27, with IMAX fan first screenings on June 23.
