AAFCA to Celebrate 7th Annual AAFCA TV Honors This August

The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) has set a date for the 7th Annual AAFCA TV Honors, which recognizes “outstanding achievements in television, highlighting diverse storytelling and performances that resonate with audiences worldwide.” The ceremony will take place on August 23 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. 

In a statement, AAFCA president and co-founder Gil Robertson had this to say, “We are excited to once again celebrate the incredible talent and creativity that defines television today. The AAFCA TV Honors provides a platform to recognize the impactful narratives and performances that reflect the richness of the Black experience. We look forward to another year of honoring the best in television.”

More details regarding the location, nominees, and special honorees will be released in the coming months leading to the ceremony.
