Martin Scorsese Looking to Direct a Hawaiian Crime Drama with Emily Blunt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Dwayne Johnson?

Now this is potentially a huge project coming together. It seems like Martin Scorsese is interested in directing a Hawaii-set crime drama, one that would not just reunite him with Leonardo DiCaprio, but also mark his first collaborations with some other heavy hitters.

According to Deadline, none other than Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson brought the film to DiCaprio and Scorsese. Nick Bilton is going to write the movie, assuming a deal comes together, and it would focus on a Hawaiian crime boss rising to power during the 1960s and 1970s. If the deal gets made and this moves forward, it instantly becomes one of the biggest upcoming projects to look forward to. Stay tuned.
