Sundance is Narrowing its Search for a Potential New Home

The Sundance Film Festival, as we recently found out, is shopping for a possible new home. Long having taken place in Park City, Utah, Sundance started taking pitches on a potential move. Now, we’ve learned that the search has narrowed and some finalists are emerging, including a very familiar spot. More below.

According to Variety, the Sundance Institute has narrowed things down to three areas, which are Cincinnati, Ohio, Boulder, Colorado, and Salt Lake City/Park City, Utah. A final decision will be announced after next year’s festival, with the move (or non-move) happening for 2027.
