A24 Acquires U.S. Distribution Rights For ‘Queer’

The start of festival season has certainly led to some big news over the past couple of hours. First, Netflix picked up Maria. Now, ahead of its September 3rd debut at the Venice International Film Festival, Luca Guadagnino‘s Queer has found a home.

According to Variety, A24 is going to be distributing the film stateside. Queer stars Daniel Craig and has long been looked at as a big Oscar vehicle. Now that it has U.S. distribution, that can be more accurately interpreted in the coming days. The movie will be hitting the Toronto International Film Festival next, so look for more on it soon.
