Focus Features Gives Yorgos Lanthimos’ Next Film ‘Bugonia’ a November 2025 Release Date

With Kinds of Kindness now in theaters, there’s already anticipation growing for the next movie from Yorgos Lanthimos. We already know that he’s putting his spin on the South Korean film Save the Green Planet, now titled Bugonia. Now, we know when we’ll get to see it.

Focus Features has announced that Bugonia will hit theaters on November 7th, 2025. Emma Stone is reuiniting once again with Lanthimos, while Jesse Plemons becomes the latest actor to want to work with him a second time. Will Tracy wrote the screenplay for the science fiction comedy, but it will surely be Lanthimos’ vision through and through. The November release date also suggests potential awards possibilities.
