Neon to Distribute ‘The Unknown’ with Léa Seydoux

At the Cannes Film Festival, Neon announced it bought the North American rights to The Unknown, a drama written and directed by Oscar-winning screenwriter Arthur Harari.

Léa Seydoux will star in the movie, though details on the plot and characters are kept under wraps. It will be Neon’s second collaboration with Harari, who co-wrote Anatomy of a Fall with his partner, Justine Triet, to which they won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.

Anatomy of a Fall also won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival last year, which makes this latest project one of the most hotly anticipated of Neon’s upcoming library. It will certainly have a massive rollout once the film is completed, and don’t be surprised when it eventually makes its way to La Croisette before releasing in cinemas.
