Glen Powell in Talks to Star in J.J. Abrams Project and ‘Monsanto’ Legal Film

Yesterday was a good day to be in the Glen Powell business. Not only has he signed on to lead a high profile legal drama, it turns out he might be in one of the more hotly anticipated movies coming down the pike. More below.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, not only is Powell going to lead Monsanto, opposite Laura Dern and Anthony Mackie, but he’s also in talks to star in the upcoming new film from none other than J.J. Abrams. The former, set to be written and directed by John Lee Hancock, could launch Powell into the awards conversation, while the latter is going to likely cement him as a massive A-lister.
