Jeremy Strong to Play Bruce Springsteen Manager Jon Landau in ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’

Some very interesting potential casting news has come out today. As the Bruce Springsteen movie Deliver Me From Nowhere continues to move towards production, we now know who might be playing Springsteen’s longtime manager, Jon Landau, and it’s a pretty big name.

Variety is exclusively reporting that Jeremy Strong is negotiating to play Landau. Scott Cooper is writing and directing the film, which will star Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen. Deliver Me From Nowhere will follow Springsteen as he crafts what would become the Nebraska album, dealing with fame and mental health in the process. Both Landau and Springsteen are going to be involved in the movie, which should start shooting this fall. More when we have it.
