BAFTA Sets Date for 2025 Awards

The British Academy of Film and Television has set its date for the 2025 annual BAFTA Awards, which will take place two weeks before the Oscars are set to take place on February 16, 2025. The 97th edition of the Academy Awards will be held on March 2, 2025.

No confirmation on where the awards will take place has been announced. This year, the awards ceremony occurred at the Royal Festival Hall in London, where Christopher Nolan‘s Oppenheimer took home the Best Film Award, while Jonathan Glazer‘s The Zone Of Interest won the BAFTA for Best British Film.

Doctor Who star David Tennant hosted the ceremony, which saw Cillian Murphy and Emma Stone respectively win the Best Actor and Actress awards, leading them to Oscar wins three weeks later, on March 10.
