First Trailer for ‘Sing Sing’ Teases Another Incredible Performance from Colman Domingo

The first trailer for Sing Sing has been released online. Adapted from John H. Richardson‘s The Sing Sing Follies and Brent Buell‘s Breakin’ the Mummy’s Code, the film is written and directed by Greg Kwedar, co-written by Clint Bentley, and based on a story written by Bentley, Kwedar, Clarence “Divine Eye” Maclin and John “Divine G” Whitfield.

Sing Sing will star Colman Domingo, Clarence “Divine Eye” Maclin, Sean San Jose, Paul Raci, David “Dap” Giraudy, Patrick “Preme” Griffin, Jon Adrian “JJ” Velazquez, and Sean “Dino” Johnson.

Here is the plot synopsis:

“Divine G (Colman Domingo), imprisoned at Sing Sing for a crime he didn’t commit, finds purpose by acting in a theatre group alongside other incarcerated men, including a wary newcomer (Clarence Maclin), in this stirring true story of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art, starring an unforgettable ensemble cast of formerly incarcerated actors.”

Additionally, a first-look poster was released, which you can look at below:
