A fourth Spider-Man film has been announced by Kevin Feige and Marvel, but that’s more or less been it on any development news. The biggest question to answer is, of course, whether Tom Holland would be back as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Well, at a recent event, Holland was asked about just that. His answer isn’t surprising, but it is noteworthy, nonetheless.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Holland has said that, provided everyone involved can figure out a worthy story to tell, he’d be foolish not to reprise the role. That’s hardly a confirmation, but it does show that he’s at least leaving the door more than a little bit open. We’re going to get a new Spider-Man movie eventually, but whether he’s in it or not, we do know that a good idea could lure him in. More when we have it.
