NEON Acquires Sean Baker’s Upcoming Film ‘Anora’

After a short run with A24, Sean Baker has a new distributor for his latest project. The film is Anora, which is a star vehicle for Mikey Madison. The distribution house, well, it’s none other than NEON, which represents another indie filmmaker working with the shingle.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NEON will distribute the film in North America. Aside from Madison, the cast includes Mark Eydelshteyn, Yuriy Borisov, Karren Karagulian, and Vache Tovmasyan. The plot is still unknown at this time, but it’s almost certainly a simple one that revels in complex characters. Whatever it’s about, Baker has a new movie coming and a distributor that will definitely do right by it.
