The American Cinema Editors (ACE) has announced its ceremony date, venue, and full timeline for the 74th Annual ACE Eddie Awards. The ceremony will occur on March 3, 2024, at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles. This year, the ceremony will begin at an earlier start time, with a reception before the ceremony and an after-party preceding it.
Projects must have been released from January 1st to December 31, 2023, to be eligible for award consideration. In a statement, ACE Executive Director Jenni McCormick said, “since the Golden Reel Awards are also set for March 3rd, we collaborated with our partners at the Motion Picture Sound Editors Guild to make sure that both the sound and picture editing communities could attend both the ACE Eddie Awards and the Golden Reel Awards to celebrate together.”
Submissions will open on November 1 and close on December 5 at 5pm PT. All submissions will be available for online viewing for members via secure screening rooms from Indee through the ACE application.
