Guillermo del Toro has been wanting to do his take on Frankenstein as long as he’s had a career. Well, it seems like he’s finally getting a chance to do it, as it appears to be his next project. Recently, he was talking about the film and revealed a new addition to the cast. Unsurprisingly, it’s someone he’s just worked with, to strong effect.
According to Collider, Christoph Waltz has joined the cast of Frankenstein. The cast del Toro has assembled already includes Andrew Garfield, Mia Goth, and Oscar Isaac, so it’s a fairly star-studded affair. The movie is a perfect fit for the filmmaker, so with this kind of a cast, it’s impossible not to be excited for it. More when we have it.
